Here are the prize details for the International Charity Model search. It's almost time to start voting. Check back later in the week for details.

Family Prizes The Grand Prize winning family takes home a new car! NOTE: All taxes, licensing, and fees must be paid by the winner. First Place: A 2010 Hyundai Accent (metallic silver), 4 door sedan, automatic transmission, with air conditioning ($15,460.00 value). A Canon Powershot A495 camera, $50 gift certificate to J Crew, and a limited edition numbered and signed photo art print from a renowned photographer. Second Place: A Canon point and shoot camera, and a limited edition numbered and signed photo art print from a renowned photographer. Third Place: A Canon point and shoot camera, and a limited edition numbered and signed photo art print from a renowned photographer. City finalists: All finalists will receive a photo art print by a renowned photographer. Tour Cities: The leading family in each city (4 days prior to each tour stop) will be offered the chance to participate in the 2010 Family Tour as onstage models. If the first place family is unavailable, then we will call the next family in line until we find a family that is available to participate. Each family that participates in a tour will receive a CD of their family images (8-10 pictures with artwork). Good Luck to All Participating Families!

Most Photogenic

We are so excited to share a story of one of our beautiful and talented clients. Alexis Canon dances for Nouveau Dance Company in Plainfield, IL. She attended the Bravo dance competition this past weekend in Crystal Lake, Il and won "Most Photogenic" (We're not surprised just look at her!) with her Mettler Portait. Christmas Wishes

This Christmas season has been flying by in a blur. I don't even have all the ornaments on my tree and let me tell you , that's just not like me. I have been enjoying every minute though. I have met some wonderful new people and spent time with old friends, I hope you can do the same this Christmas.

North Pole News

It's that time of year again! (I'm using an older post to fill you in)

I know everybody is still trying to decide what they are going to be for Halloween, but I've got such great news I'm just bursting to share it. I'll start by telling you that Santa and I go way back. He kept pretty close tabs on me when I was a little girl. He still drops by the house every Christmas and we never forget to leave him some cookies and milk. I have kids of my own now so I haven't asked him for anything in a really long time. This year on a whim, I decided to give him a call and put in a request before things got crazy up there. Let me tell you, true to form, the big guy came through! Mettler Portraits is proud to announce the arrival of one of Santa's own reindeer! He'll be staying with us through Christmas and can you believe it, he loves to have his picture taken. He's still a little guy, his antlers barely come up to my chin so book a sitting early, by next year he may be strong enough to pull the sleigh and then he'll be too busy training to come and stay with us.

That's right our old friend is training with the big guys now but we have a new little friend this year and he's not camera shy either. Stop by our Halloween Bash (details on the Sept. 10th post) to say hello and help us name him.
