Spring?

Valentine's Day is over and I'm ready for spring. I have a gorgeous new custom made fairy costume that I will be photographing for the first time next week. I can't wait! Sweethearts

 Late in the fall last year this couple came with their five kids for a family session. We had a wonderful time with them exchanging lots of laughs. Mother nature played games with us during the whole session as the sky would intermittently clear and cloud over. More than once we had to make a run for our vans as the rains came pouring down. In honor of Valentines day I thought I would share one of my favorite couples pictures of last year. 

When is the last time you had your picture taken with your sweetheart?

They came from 45 minutes away. When they left home the sun was out and when they pulled up the rain was POURING down. We checked the radar and it looked like it would pass so we headed to our location with the studio as a back up plan. After hiding out in the van for a few minute we thought we might catch a break. The umbrella shot was just for me but it's a cute reminder of the day. 

We put together an incredible coffee table book for them with puddles & sunshine.

Happy Valentine's Day

In January we had a fundraiser for our friend Nathaniel who has Cystic Fibrosis. Here is one of the little guys who came to help us out. I hope you are surrounded by those you love today. Sometimes the greatest love comes from the smallest source.

Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

Today was our first day of Valentines for Nathaniel. We are raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis. Here's some from today. Valentines for Nathaniel 2013

Our friend Nathaniel is 5 years old and has cystic fibrosis. Last year a new drug was approved for the treatment of cystic fibrosis and on the day Nathaniel came to take his picture for our poster his mom found out he can not receive this treatment until he is 12 years old but, Nathaniel is a fighter. Won't you join us Friday or Saturday for Nathaniel's Valentines for a Cure?

We will have 2 backdrops to choose from, Spray Paint Love (Red/Blue/Bright colors) or Angel Pink.  Our angel wings will also be available.
